APSI Intentions:
a) The representation of the interests of
shooting instructors both within the shooting industry and
in wider, general terms, such as in discussion over any proposed
changes to legislation or qualification requirements.
b) The encouragement of instructors to increase their knowledge/skills.
c) The provision of training opportunities for instructors
to achieve an increase in knowledge and skills and, also,
higher APSI qualification.
d) To encourage groundowners and corporate event suppliers
to use instructors who have the relevant qualifications/recognition
e) To promote public awareness of this availability of skilled/qualified/recognised
instructors for bona fide instruction
f) To work with other bodies within
the shooting industry, and within BSSC in particular, to achieve
all or any of the above.
